This machine is a tracked vehicle used in excavation and construction to move or push soil and rock. It does not have the ability to lift, but because of its tracks can move around where the footing is poor. This machine can be equipped with a ripper that will allow it to move rock that is embedded in the ground, and can also be equipped with logging attachments such as a winch, that allow it to be used in forestry work. The addition of sweeps and a screen are often seen, when equipped for logging.
